This week, Tecumseh Town Council begins at 6:30pm beginning with a public meeting regarding 5648 North Talbot Road. The purpose of the meeting is to hear public comment on the proposed rezoning by-law amendment for the property. It is located on the north side of North Talbot Road, approximately 110 metres west of its intersection with 9th Concession Road. The request is to rezone the subject property from "Agricultural Zone (A-33)" to "Hamlet Residential Zone (RH)" in order to facilitate the creation of one new residential lot and the future construction of one single-unit dwelling. Re: Removal of Windsor International Airport from NAV Canada's Closure List. Transport Minister Omar Alghabra responds to Tecumseh Council's resolution from December 2020 indicating that on April 15, 2021, NAV CANADA announced that there will be no site closures at air traffic control towers or flight service stations in Canada. Aeronautical studies currently underway at these remote and northern locations will be suspended until further notice.

Woodstock City Council calls on the Honourable Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario to bring together the Ministry of the Attorney General, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to immediately work together on both short and long term solutions, complete with funding, to take proper responsibility and action to address the affordable housing, homelessness, and addictions crisis.

14. Municipality of Lakeshore dated July 20, 2021
Re: Notice of Public Meeting - Floating Homes. On August 10th at 6pm, Lakeshore will consider an amendment to Lakeshore Zoning By-law 2-2012, as amended (File: ZBA-21-2021), under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990, c.P.13. The amendment is to include a definition of “Float Home” in the Lakeshore Zoning By-law 2-2012 and adding a specific prohibition on float homes in the General Provisions section of the Zoning By-law. In doing so, the definition of “Float Home” precludes it from being specifically permitted in any zone and also prevents a float home as being interpreted as constituting any other type of dwelling or other use which is more specifically defined in the Zoning By-law.

Re: Include PSA Test for Men into the Medical Care. Plympton-Wyoming supports the Town of Cochrane's motion requesting that the Federal and Provincial Governments move to have the PSA Test for men included in the national health care system and that it be made available for all Canadian men at no charge.
b.CS-2021-19 December Holiday Schedule for 2022.
Admininstration is recommending that the Tecumseh Town Hall Offices be closed for the 2022 December Holiday Season from Saturday, December 24, 2022 through to and including Sunday, January 1, 2021.
c. CS-2021-20 Council Meetings in 2022. Administration is recommending that the following Regular Council Meeting dates in 2022 be cancelled: Tuesday, June 14, 2021, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
