NOTE: Council will be meeting on both Monday for the budget and Tuesday for both a special meeting to discuss the McPhee Drain, and our regular meeting at 7pm.
The agendas for Tuesday's meetings are as follows:
6pm: Public Meeting regarding the cleaning of the McPhee Drain. In rural areas of the town not serviced by storm sewers, the cost of cleaning the drains and rebuilding deficient culverts falls to the affected landowners who are assessed based on their properties. The McPhee Drain is at a point in time where this work is necessary. During the meeting, these landowners will have the opportunity to speak to the costs that they will have to incur for this maintenance and advise Council of any concerns.
